Will ~ it's a pleasure to see that you have done so well here! Your voice, your songs, your heart, all have found their own over these many years since Engine House 9. You've earned it; you deserve all the good that comes of it.

You're my new favorite singer. Discovered your cd "Roping the Moon" this summer in La Veta on the way home to NC after being in the west for a few weeks. Have purchased some more of your songs through Itunes. Would love to hear you in concert. Especially love Colorado Horses and William Dubois but all your songs are fantastic.

Hi Will
I'm not sure you'll remember me...? I met up with you outside Bandera Library, several years ago. We were two Brits, staying at the Mayan Dude Ranch at the time. And you kindly sold me one of your CDs, which I still have and love. Great to have found your website and see that you are still playing and singing!
All the best from the UK!

On 31 Oct. 2009, I was on my way to work in Jackson Hole. I had been listening to our "On the Range" radio station. At 9:45 a.m. that mornin, your song "The Cowboy's Last Wish" was playin!! Oh my God I was bawling. Because this song you were singing remined me of a dear ol Cowboy friend of mine today from Wolfpoint, Montana whose funeral was that day at 10:00 a.m. in Glasgow,Mt.. He had a terrible accident. But he was doing what he always had loved in life besides his loving wife of 56 year's. He was workin moving cattle with family and friends. You see Bob Ferguson and his wife are very dear to me. We had been ranch neighbor's, and we become very close. Even though I had to make a move in my life to start over in Wyoming. We never lost touch. They are family to me,even tough we weren't blood. The love that Bob had for his wife and family is what I always longed for in a spouse. But I am always greatful for my loving friend's and my dear grown daughter's and grand-daughter's I've acquired since my new life in Wyoming!!! I just wanted to let you know Will Dudley how that song made me feel that day of Bob passin on to much greener pastures. I don't own a computer myself. So I hope you know that music has touched someone new to your music. I'm hopin to purchase your music soon! Best Wishes, Julie DeShaw Jackson Hole, Wyo. 83002

A couple of friends of mine and myself were staying in a cabin up on CO 360 in the Spanish Peaks from August 8-15, 2009. It was gorgeous up there and gave my spirit a time to rest and reflect. Anyway, we went down to LaVeta on Friday the 14th to shop and while I was in this little boutique, I heard your music for the first time and I just had to dance and sashe' around. It was fun. The sales lady asked me if I had ever heard your music and said that she did not have any CD's but Grandpa and Grandma's across the street did. So, we went over there and there were two, I bought one and have been listening to it ever since. My favorites so far are "Trying to Rope the Moon, Colorado Horses, Cowboy Angels and Itty Bitty Outlaw." However, I really like them all. It's hard to find good cowboy music. I like to listen to a lot of different music, I'm not one to be stuck in a rut. Some of those songs remind me of my horse. I had to give her away recently to some friends who live in Guthrie, OK as I lost my job back in December. I hope to get another horse soon, as I miss her and I miss riding. My best friend bought a good horse who had a bad leg and we thought she was going to be okay as it has been a year and a half but the horse had a bad fall with her and is not sound so she is giving her to a rescue. This weekend we plan to travel to Pilot Point and Ballard, Texas to look at some quarter horses and of course listen to your music all the way! Thank God for musical cowboys!!! Keep on makin' that beautiful music with your buddy's Will, ya'll are great musicians.

Hey Will hope everything is well with you. I'm still up at Danas playing horsey. I purchased a little stud colt last year. He is a Hollywood Dunnit x reminic lines. Remember Mildy and Julius had a reminic bred stud at their place. I guess they lost him a few years back. He is a really good looking animal. Anyway just wanted to touch bases with you to see how you are doing e-mail if you have time Mary

Will-
Sue and I enjoyed meeting you at RTR last week. Your wit and knowledge of the music business made an already great meal even better. Your performance later that evening was superb. We played your cd all the way home to Texas. We now know most of the words to many of the songs on it already. Now, if we could just learn to sing and play like you....
Thanks again for a great evening.

My daughter just gave me the CD "Trying to Rope the Moon" and I think it is fantastic. My favorites are "Colorado Horses", "My Little Outlaw", "Shelley", and the "Cowboys Last Wish". That does not mean I don't like the other tunes, just that these are my favorites.

Mr. Dudley...you recently met my sister, Cathy DeLeeuw, at Adventure Trails in Colorado. She was very impressed with your music and so I am. I just listened to "Nothings Changed" and I would love very much to purchase your "Heart at Work" CD if you would be so kind as to autograph it for me. I would like to play this song at our reception for my in-laws when my husband and I renew our vows. You have an amazing voice. I can't wait to listen to every song.

Will,
For a year, I have anticipated listening to your beautiful voice and guitar at RTR. However, an accident just a day before your arrival prompted me to have a 3 day visit to the hospital instead. So, I will listen to your music via CD at home and the car and dream about RTR and your music till next Sept. 2008. Until then, Happy Trails, Dee

Dear Will,
We missed you at KLBar this year. So glad to hear that you are planning to be a teacher. I have written all this to you once, and think it was all erased when I treid to submit it.
Anyhow, we loved your singing and the way you brought all my imagined life traumas into the song! KLBar was not the same without you, although you can imagine we enjoyed the horses, people, hiking, food, and desert scenery to the ultimate.
Have you made any new CDs? which was the latest? We will check to see if we are missing any. I play your songs evey day, no lies!
Please keep up your music and teach the love of learning to the kids.
Best Wishes,
Arthur Hyde

Hi Will
We met you again this year at the RTR, Helen & I were there from England for the last week of September. As ever it was a great evening and great conversation over dinner. Good luck with the college thing, we know where you're coming from with that. Best regards. Mike & Helen

Will, we met at Powderhorn in July (popular place, huh?) I was one of the Texas Six women (or "wimmen" as we say here). We, also, enjoy your CD's often. I, too, went back to school at an advanced age, and have worked in education for twenty years. Yours is not an easy road, but something tells me your heart is in the right place. And you are correct: the children of today will be taking care of us thirty years down the road, so what you are about is reeeeallly important. Hang on the music...it puts a smile in your soul. Kat

Nice music-- wish I were in Arizona, but I'm in Aberdeen (Wa.) housesitting for my cousin while she is vacationing in Arizona (El Mirage, I think)-- We (in Aberdeen) are about to break the record for rainfall since 1953.
